In an effort to further enhance our company’s cyber defenses, we want to inform you that we'll be migrating to a new VMware Horizon connection on September 30, 2023. This migration will allow us to provide you with a more secure, reliable, and efficient connection to our systems.
Your security is one of our greatest priorities, so making the investment to upgrade our cyber defenses at no extra charge to you was a natural step for SBI. Some of the highlights of the new VMware Horizon connection include:
Secure tunnel to encrypt all traffic between your device and our servers to protect your data from unauthorized access
Greater reliability, as it's able to handle more users and concurrent connections
Look and act very similarly to your remote desktop connection; this means little to no additional training needed for those that use the remote desktop connection now
The new VMware Horizon connection is now active so we encourage you to check it out as we prepare to shut down the remote desktop connection on September 30, 2023.
Training for VMWare Horizon
Once the migration is complete, you will no longer be able to connect to our systems using the old remote desktop connection. This means, that as of September 30, 2023, you will need to begin using the new VMware Horizon connection.
